Confident to the Core – rider confidence training

Our flagship distance learning course, Confident to the Core is having remarkable success! Why not join us as enjoy that same feeling as our recent graduates:

“The course has exceeded all my expectations. I am a whole new rider. My confidence continues to grow and grow. everything you learn makes good sense and is taught in a relaxed and supportive way. This is the only thing I’ve ever done that has actually helped my confidence.”

“My first solo ride in 7 months, it was fab, even a few tears of disbelief that I am doing this!”

“Just rode my beautiful mare for the first time in six months and I have never had such a wonderful time. Thank-you Tracey, you have changed my world.”

“Thought you might like to know that as a result of using some of the techniques, I’ve jumped my horse AND gone for a canter in the field.”

“This course has been a revelation to me. My physio was in the stable with me, working on my horse’s back (he usually rears and barges around) and she remarked how calm I was. More than that, she noticed how my horse was responding to me and my new assertiveness. I’ve noticed now that I can lope easily in the covered arena and outdoors, something I never thought possible. I can’t thank you enough. I would recommend this course to everyone who has the slightest fear or even the greatest one to improve your relationship with your horse and your relationship with yourself as a rider.”

“I debated whether to pay for this course, because I’d been enrolled on a free rider confidence website for over a year. Well, what a difference! No comparison. After a year of getting nowhere, I’m now ready for my first dressage competition in 6 years. Even though I usually feel a terrible dread before competing, I’m looking forward to it this time, for the first time ever. Thank-you so much.”

As a former nervous rider, particularly when it came to hacking, mounting, competing, jumping (actually, almost everything!), I was amazed that I overcame my fears. That was something that happened to other people. I thought my mind was too stubborn and my nerves too ingrained to ever really enjoy all aspects of riding. I thought that I should know my limits and that other people went out and about enjoying their rides. I always had a huge feeling of relief when I got off and I mistook that for enjoyment!! Whilst I was actually on the horse, well, I was sometimes frozen like a statue wondering why I put myself through it! Using a combination of techniques, I was very, very surprised (and delighted) that I overcame my fears – to the extent that I couldn’t get them back!

When I enrolled on an NLP training, it was such a massive surprise that I’d got rid of my fears, that I tested myself over and over and tried to get them back. But I couldn’t! (I really do not advise that you try to get fears back, it was something that I had to see if I could test before I made this my job!)

Designing this course has been a true labour of love. I’ve researched what works and what works fast and efficiently. How to style a multi-pronged attack on the mind, to get those fears pummelled into the dust. I’ve re-modelled the techniques to make them simple, easy to access and riding-friendly.

You are led through a set of 5 modules, working at your own pace, with my full support. (You can read more about me here.) You can get in touch via email and in our private Facebook Group. Each technique is done in the same way as for a private client, you are guided through and experience the technique and you learn how to do it for yourself, so that you can maintain that confidence. Each method has been carefully chosen and re-modelled for riders; the techniques are fast and simple.

The training starts by opening up the mind to change, persuading the mind that there is another way to ride. Then wham! we get into changing the mind. Actually making new neural connections in the brain, so that we change the way we think and then the way we act. This course in rider confidence is not theory-based. It’s highly practical. Each mp4 webinar recording takes you through the techniques, as though you were a private client. You’ll have all the cheat sheets, info and instruction sheets, so that you can practise afterwards on your own. You’ll receive all the course materials together, so you can get started straight away! Then work at your own pace, when it suits you.

“Firstly, thank you so much for the training. I have to admit I was a bit sceptical initially, but really can’t explain to you just how much this short course has done for my confidence both riding and on the ground with my adorable but quirky thoroughbred. Actually, it hasn’t just helped the riding either, I have applied some of the techniques in general life and at work with excellent results.

I also think it will help when I’m teaching stressed out adults who haven’t been in education for some years!  I found the fact you provided us with a real variety of techniques to be really helpful and whilst I consciously planned what methods I would use when I knew I would needed to calm myself  – my unconscious mind seemed to decide for me and weirdly it was often those techniques I seemed to use to best effect when I found myself in a sudden stressful situation.

All the training was delivered really well, I couldn’t fault it.” Judith, UK
